Becky Bergman: Wife, Mom and Writer

I started my journalism career in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked as an editor and writer for nearly a decade before I moved to the southeast in 2005. I currently live in Mooresville with my husband Ron, our six-year-old son Matthew and two labs, Jack and Holly. The Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of Becky Bergman

I have published more than 1,000 articles in 60-plus national, regional and local magazines, newspapers and websites. My work has appeared in Business 2.0 Magazine, Realtor.org, San Francisco Business Times and Business North Carolina Magazine.

I have also produced numerous marketing projects, including brochures, newsletters, flyers, press releases, sales letters, website landing pages and handled social media campaigns for a variety of small- and mid-sized companies.

In 2009, I launched PeanutAllergyMom.com, a website that provides resources, tips and articles for families, friends and community members living with and among peanut-allergic children. I also manage professional and engaging social media accounts for PeanutAllergyMom.com on Facebook and Twitter.

I enjoy writing stories that educate, enlighten and entertain readers; in particular, I’m drawn to people whose stories of challenge and perseverance inspire others to have a positive impact within their own lives, homes and communities.

When I’m not busy meeting deadlines or blogging about peanut allergies, I enjoy spending time with my son building LEGOs, volunteering and hanging out with my husband in our Lake Norman home.
